william was born on june 5th 1946 in livrpool, son of walter and esther, he had 3 brothers and 5 sisters. he came from a loving family. william left home at the tender age of 16 to see the world, during his journey he travelled to bethlehem, nazererth an middle east. upon returning home he met his soon to be wife jenny, during the years they had four children one of which died at the age of 6 weeks old his name was peter. their other three children were two boys and one girl, billy jnr, jem, and charlotte. as tme went on william got divorced and moved from halewood to the city centre, it was there he met a wonderful lady called carol, they had two boys michael and joseph.
